Snelling, appeals from the judgment of the circuit court of St. Clair County granting defendants' motions for summary judgment in an action for personal injury brought pursuant to the Merchant Marine Act of 1920 (46 U.S.C. sec. 688 (1976)), commonly known as the Jones Act, and the general maritime law.
