OPINION

BRYNER, Chief Judge.

James Coats pled guilty to and was convicted of the crime of sexual abuse of a minor, in violation of AS 11.41.440. The offense is a class C felony, punishable by a maximum term of five years' imprisonment. AS 11.41.440(b); AS 12.55.125(e). On August 2, 1982, Superior Court Judge Thomas E. Schulz sentenced Coats to serve two years in jail, with all but two months of the sentence suspended on the condition that Coats satisfactorily...
