Larry Henry Carter was convicted by a jury of demonstrating near the United States Courthouse in Des Moines, Iowa, with the intent of interfering with the administration of justice and influencing a judge, juror, witness, or court officer in the discharge of his duty, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1507.1 The demonstration, which included between 150 and 200 people, took place on the morning of October 27, 1982...
