This patent litigation, which began nearly twenty-seven years ago, is now reaching a conclusion. On May 24, 1983, the United States Supreme Court affirmed this Court's award of $11,022,854.97 prejudgment interest to the plaintiffs in this case. See General Motors Corp. v.
