In this criminal proceeding, the state appeals from a trial court order suppressing defendant's confession to the crime of robbery in the first degree. The state contends that the trial court erred by concluding that defendant's confession was involuntary and had been obtained through a violation of his Sixth Amendment right to counsel and the constitutional protections explained in Edwards v. Arizona, 451 U.S. 477...
