Appellants, Lloyde W. Richmond, Jr., Rodney J. Richmond, Elwood P. Richmond and Richmond Engineering, Inc., were indicted on ten counts of making false statements in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1001 (1976).1 In addition, all individual appellants were indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit the violations charged in counts 1 through 10.
