This case comes before us on cross-appeals from the trial court's order granting partition and sale of real property owned jointly by Elmer H. Hairston and Mary W. Hairston prior to their divorce. For convenience, we will refer to Elmer H. Hairston as appellant and Mary W. Hairston as appellee.
