Appellant, James E. Meeks, was indicted by the Montgomery County Grand Jury for felony possession of drugs. At his arraignment on December 8, 1981, appellant pleaded not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity. A motion to suppress was filed on December 15, 1981, which was later denied. After waiving his right to a jury trial on January 25, 1982, appellant's case was submitted to the trial court, and he was thereupon adjudged guilty. He was sentenced...
