This case arises out of action taken by the Town Council of the Village of Converse, condemning and ordering the demolition of a building owned by the plaintiffs, Sion Smith Tatum and Helen Myers Tatum, which building is located in the Village of Converse. Pursuant to LSA-R.S. 33:4764, the Tatums appealed the decision of the Town Council by filing suit against the municipality in the Eleventh Judicial District Court praying that the order of condemnation...
