Citizen King, on behalf of his minor son, Glenn Patrick King1 filed suit for workmen's compensation payments allegedly due Glenn as a result of injuries received when Glenn was struck by hot water and steam emanating from a pressure cooker while employed as a part-time helper at a Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
