The defendant, Gregory P. Rohman, was convicted of two counts of reckless homicide and one count of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor following a bench trial. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 38, par. 9-3(a); ch. 951/2, par. 11-501(a).)
