Appellant argues, first, that his conviction for armed robbery, D.C.Code §§ 22-2901, -3202 (1981), cannot stand because the trial court failed immediately to instruct the jury, during the government's case-in-chief, that prior inconsistent statements of the government's own witness (in this case grand jury testimony) could be considered only in evaluating whether the witness' trial testimony...
