Alleging improper cancellation of an inscription of a money judgment in the mortgage records of the Clerk of Court for the Parish of Jefferson, a judgment creditor brought mandamus proceedings against the Clerk and other interested parties to require the Clerk to reinscribe the judgment as of the date of cancellation.
