In 1970, the City of Yakutat contracted for the construction of a cold storage plant at Yakutat. In order to arrest condensation problems, Vertecs, Inc. installed foam insulation on the interior of the roof of the plant, pursuant to subcontract from the general contractor on the project, Chris Berg, Inc.
