Appellant Joseph Morano was convicted by a jury in the Southern District of Florida for damaging and destroying the building which contained his business, "Price Cutter, Inc.", by means of an explosive device, in violation of 18 U.S.C.A. §§ 2 and 844(i). The jury also convicted him for devising a scheme to defraud the United States Fire Insurance Company of New York by filing false and fraudulent insurance claims through the mails, in violation...
