On June 23, 1983, this Court denied the joint application of Fulani Sunni-Ali, Aiysha Buckner, Richard Delaney, Yaasmyn Fula, Jerry Gaines, Shaheem Jabbar and Renee Thornton (collectively the "Contemnors") for one-week furloughs from their confinement at the Metropolitan Correctional Center ("MCC") during the month-long Ramadhan observance.
