A jury found the defendant Richard Bryant guilty of burglary in the second degree, a Class C felony, and assessed punishment at five years imprisonment. After the jury returned its verdict and sentence, the state presented to the court certified copies of the defendant's four prior felony convictions. The court found him to be a persistent offender and enhanced the sentence to ten years imprisonment. The sufficiency of the evidence is not questioned...
