This is a personal injury suit. Plaintiffs, Joe E. Sarphie, III and his wife, Lois Aultman Sarphie, appeal the judgment of the trial court in favor of defendant, Jerry Comeaux.

FACTS

On July 11, 1978, between 8:00 and 8:30 p.m., Mrs. Sarphie was returning home from a trip to the grocery store in an automobile owned by plaintiffs when the car slid from the roadway into a ditch along the side of the road. Mrs. Sarphie was not injured...
