We have for review an order denying a motion for post-conviction relief alleging, inter alia, ineffective assistance of counsel. Petitioner also requests that we issue a writ of habeas corpus on the ground that he was denied the effective assistance of counsel on his direct appeal from his sentence of death by the failure of appellate counsel to present to this Court on direct appeal the alleged violation of petitioner's constitutional
