In this consolidated appeal, defendants Patrick and Dianne McDonough seek review of an order of the Superior Court (Penobscot County) that denied their appeals from judgments in the District Court finding that they had committed a civil violation under 20 M.R.S.A. §§ 911, 914 (Supp.1981-1982),1 as being persons in control of children who were habitually truant, and fining each of them $200.
