Defendants-appellants Leonard E. Stroud and Walter W. Weddle were convicted of Attempted Robbery, Ind. Code § 35-41-5-1 (Burns Repl. 1979) and Ind. Code § 35-42-5-1 (Burns Repl. 1979), at the conclusion of a jury trial in Jackson Circuit Court on October 30, 1980. The jury found defendant Stroud guilty of attempted robbery while armed with a deadly weapon, resulting in bodily injury to another person, a class A felony, and he was sentenced...
