The defendant appeals his conviction of armed bank robbery in violation of §§ 2113(a), (b), (d) and (f), 18 U.S.C. and § 2, 18 U.S.C. He asserts three grounds of error. The first of these is addressed to his conviction of an assault by putting "in jeopardy the life of any person by the use of a dangerous weapon" during an armed robbery (§ 2113(d)). The...
