Defendant, Harry Lee Alexander, was convicted of aggravated rape (LSA-R.S. 14:42), attempted second degree murder (LSA-R.S. 14:27, 14:30.1) and aggravated burglary (LSA-R.S. 14:60). The convictions arose out of a single course of criminal activity perpetrated upon one victim during the early morning hours of February 14, 1982.
