This appeal arises from a judgment of the Twenty-Ninth Judicial District Court confirming a preliminary default judgment.

On November 11, 1971, a lease agreement was executed in which the plaintiff-appellee, Paul Murray, Jr. agreed to lease to the Housing Authority of St. Charles Parish, certain housing units that he owned.
