Defendant was convicted after a jury trial of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, MCL 750.520b(1)(e); MSA 28.788(2)(1)(e). Sentenced to 10 to 20 years imprisonment, defendant appeals as of right.

Complainant testified that she was hitchhiking in Lansing at approximately 10:00 p.m. on October 21, 1979. She was picked up by defendant, who agreed to drive her to an apartment complex where she intended...
