This appeal involves an action in ejectment to recover possession of land located in Baldwin County, Alabama, and in detinue for recovery of various items of personal property. Mattie L. Haynie (plaintiff) sued Twynette Byrd (defendant), alleging that plaintiff held legal title to the land, and that she owned the disputed items of personal property.
