This case comes from the Criminal Court for Shelby County. Three indictments were returned against the defendant, each charging him with extortion. (T.C.A. § 39-2-701). Defendant was acquitted on two of the indictments. On the third he was convicted and sentenced to serve not less than nor more than two (2) years...
