We are urged to expand an ancient remedy to accommodate a new right. A seaman libelled a foreign vessel for injuries allegedly sustained while he was employed aboard the vessel. The owner supplied a release bond and the vessel was released from seizure. Over a year later the seaman's estranged wife sought to intervene in the suit on her own behalf and on behalf of the children of the marriage to assert the cause of action for loss of...
