This is a suit in warranty brought by the purchaser of real property against his vendor. The plaintiff, Clifton Clause, Jr., alleges that the property he purchased from the defendant, Eldie F. Manuel, is encumbered by a federal tax lien resulting from the defendant's failure to pay federal inheritance taxes.
