This appeal arises from an action brought by the appellant, Lakeside State Bank, to collect amounts due on two promissory notes. In January 1971, the appellee was involuntarily committed to Eastern State Hospital for care and treatment under the provisions of Sections 54 and 55 of the Mental Health Act of 1953.
