Georgia-Pacific Corporation (plaintiff) and Charles Frank Haynes, Jr. (defendant) entered into a timber contract on January 25, 1979. Plaintiff was to pay defendant $52,620.84 for 327,000 board feet (MBF) of pine located on defendant's land in East Feliciana Parish.
