I. BACKGROUND

This action arises out of an alleged business relationship between plaintiff Daniel Pena and defendant John Valo. Valo allegedly induced plaintiff to enter into an oil and gas venture with him in September of 1982. Plaintiff claims that he and Valo agreed to establish a number of joint stock trading accounts in various states. Two of these accounts were to be established in New Jersey and New York...
