Defendant, Calvin L. Donald, was charged by Grand Jury indictment in the parish of Caldwell with aggravated rape. La.R.S. 14:42. A twelve-member jury found him guilty as charged, and he was subsequently sentenced to life imprisonment at hard labor. On appeal of his conviction to this court, defendant asserts six assignments of error by the trial court.
