BELSON, Associate Judge:

On October 6, 1976, a jury found appellant guilty of one count of armed robbery, D.C.Code § 22-2901, -3202 (1973), and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, id. -502. The following January appellant was sentenced to consecutive prison terms of eight to thirty years for armed robbery, and one to five years for each assault count. Appellant thereafter noted an appeal in which he challenged only the legality of his sentence...
