HALL, Judge.

The defendant, an 18-year-old first offender, appeals from the imposition of a sentence of seven years at hard labor for the commission of forgery in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:72, contending that the sentence imposed constitutes excessive punishment in contravention of Article 1, § 20 of the Louisiana Constitution and that the trial judge improperly considered the defendant's alleged involvement in an attempted armed robbery in imposing sentence....
