OPINION

EVANS, Chief Justice.

The State brought this action to obtain an order of forfeiture of a sum of money recovered by police officers during the seizure of heroin at appellant's residence. After a hearing, the court awarded the State the sum of $10,000, being the amount recovered during the narcotics raid.
