On October 30, 1978 a New Orleans Public Service bus collided with the rear of a taxi cab parked on North Rampart near the corner of Canal Street. Plaintiff, Thomas Wright, who was the operator of the cab, suffered personal injuries and brought this suit against the transit company and its bus driver.
