SPURLOCK, Justice.

Appellant, Avan King, was convicted of delivery of cocaine. Tex.Rev.Civ.Stat.Ann. art. 4476-15. He pled guilty to a jury and they assessed punishment at six (6) years imprisonment. King's original appeal to the Court of Criminal Appeals was dismissed because the record contained no notice of appeal. (See 629 S.W.2d 956 [Tex. Cr.App.1982]).
