OPINION

DIAL, Justice.

This is an appeal from a conviction for murder with the jury assessing punishment at life imprisonment.

Appellant's first ground of error alleges non-compliance by the State with the Interstate Agreement on Detainers Act (IAD). Tex.Code Crim.Proc.Ann. art. 51.14 Art. IV(c) (Vernon 1979), requires that any trial "made possible" by the IAD should commence within 120 days of the arrival of the prisoner in the receiving state....
