These cases, consolidated at trial, arise out of the reconstruction of Powder Point Bridge in the town of Duxbury. The plaintiff International Fidelity Insurance Company (IFIC) issued a payment and performance bond to Wilson Iron Works, a sole proprietorship owned by the defendant Richard E.
