MATTHEWS, Justice.

On March 22, 1980, Gary Alan Osborne was electrocuted while working as an assistant manager at a Church's Fried Chicken outlet in Anchorage. At the time of the accident, the decedent was apparently reaching into a floor safe when his forehead touched bare wires sticking out of an open electrical junction box located on the wall adjacent to, and immediately above, the safe.
