Defendants Tommy Wren and Vincent Orlando were charged by grand jury indictment with aggravated kidnapping, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:44, and first degree murder, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30, for the abduction and killing of Harold Austin. The defendants moved to suppress the testimony of Rapides Parish Sheriff's Deputy Bruce Vanderhoeven, an eyewitness who had seen the defendants on the night of the incident, because he had undergone hypnosis...
