Mary Lamb, the plaintiff in this diversity action, fell and suffered serious injury while training on an airplane evacuation slide during the course of her employment with Delta Air Lines. The accident occurred in Atlanta, although she ordinarily worked out of O'Hare Airport in Chicago.
