The appellant, Irma Mae Smith, was convicted on one count of theft of property having a value in excess of five hundred dollars and one count of theft of property having a value in excess of one hundred dollars but less than five hundred dollars, both in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:67. The trial judge sentenced her to serve concurrent prison terms of five years and two years at hard labor. The appellant asserts that (1) the sentences imposed are excessive...
