Defendant, Johnny Ray Taylor, was charged by a bill of information with the May 1, 1981, armed robbery of Sheryl Fontana, a Shreveport Baskin-Robbins employee (hereinafter referred to as the "Baskin-Robbins event"). Defendant was also separately charged by a two count grand jury indictment with the May 6, 1981, armed robbery and aggravated rape of Mrs. Patricia Hink, an employee of the Liquor Shop (hereinafter referred to as the "Liquor Shop event"...
