Richard Owen Long was convicted, after trial by jury, of unlawfully breaking and entering a vehicle, a violation of Section 13A-8-11(b), Code of Alabama 1975. This offense is designated a class C felony. After the jury verdict, a date for sentencing was set; and a pre-sentence report was ordered by the court.
