Defendant, Richard Swartz, was charged by bill of information with two counts of armed robbery, violations of La.R.S. 14:64. Defendant pled not guilty. After trial by jury defendant was found guilty as charged on both counts. Defendant was sentenced to thirty-five years at hard labor on each count, without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence, with the sentences to run consecutively.
