Respondent Evelyn Hutchins, widow of Donald Hutchins, applied for workers' compensation benefits in Minnesota. Her husband, a trucker and Wisconsin resident, was killed in Wisconsin in the course of his employment. The compensation judge granted the benefits, and relators Murphy Motor Freight Lines, Inc., and Carriers Insurance Company appealed to the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals.
