Appellant Timothy McKinney appeals his jury trial conviction for armed bank robbery in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2113(a) and (d).

In June 1981, three armed men robbed the Sequoia Savings and Loan in Fresno, California. Indictments were returned against Timothy McKinney, Larry Simmons and Joe Jennings.
