Defendant Henry J. Harper was charged by grand jury indictment filed May 12, 1981, with two counts of aggravated rape, two counts of attempted first degree murder, one count of armed robbery, one count of aggravated kidnapping, one count of aggravated burglary, and one count of attempted aggravated rape. The charges arose from a series of events which took place in a single incident involving the defendant's illegal entry into a trailer residence...
